Activities for Kids
Due to the generous involvement of the community members, we have had the following activities during the trailer season.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Generous donations from raffles and beer can and bottle refunds provided by our residents have given the children in the park gifts to enjoy as they celebrate a Christmas in July with their friends at the park.
SWIMMING POOL
The community pool at the park is for all the residents and their guests. It is a continuous depth at 4 feet. It's a great place to cool down.
HORSESHOES
Horseshoes sites are available all season long for anyone of the residents to play at any age. There is also a tournament that is put on during the long weekend that our residents enjoy.
ACCESS TO BALSAM LAKE
For the kids, there is access to the lake at the edge of the point where a community dock is set up if they would like to fish.
EASTER EGG HUNT
The annual Easter Egg Hunt is a lot of fun for the younger children in the park, put on by our residents.
HALLOWEEN
The annual Halloween night is enjoyed by all who participate for the kids as residents decorate their trailers and invite the kids for some treats. Also, Halloween costume contests are put on by the residents for the kids to enjoy.
FISHING
Balsam lake has some great fishing spots close by and when in season residents can enjoy fishing for Walleye, Bass, Pike, Muskie, Sunfish, and other various types.
BUILDING FRIENDSHIPS
The kids find each other to make great friendships which last beyond the season.
